With over 690,000 inhabitants, Oslo is not only Norway’s capital city but also the largest city in the country (the second-largest is Bergen and the third-largest is Stavanger). Even though you cannot find the same nature and outstanding landscapes in Oslo as you can find in other parts of the country, the city has its own charm and attracts many tourists and students to its center each year. So, if you are planning a Southern Norway Road Trip, Oslo should be on your list as well! To get a first impression of the city and to see the most famous attractions, I would recommend spending at least two days in Oslo.
