The last years have probably turned many people into camping enthusiasts. Admittedly, the camper fever grabbed me as well and prompted me to convert a VW Caddy into a small campervan. During the last two summers, I was exploring parts of Austria, Slovenia (especially Lake Bled), Croatia as well as Norway with it and absolutely enjoyed it! I love the idea of traveling flexibly from one place to another, exploring new countries and hidden gems, and always having my bed with me. Even if camping is anything but luxurious and can sometimes be very exhausting, it is the perfect way to see a lot at a relatively low cost. To limit the things I wanted to take with me, I have put together my campervan packing list, which is partly based on my backpacking essentials list.

I am super happy to share it with you now and hopefully get you excited about your next road trip! And if you’re still looking for inspiration on where to go, I hope my list of the best European campervan routes will help you out! 🙂
